Dear Mother Earth

Dear Mother Earth,

there are people who littering, polluting and even maybe not recycling. How I can stop that from happening, is that when I see rubbish and stuff like: paper, plastic bottles, cans and stuff like that, I promise that I will pick them up ( even if I can’t be bothered to ) and put them in the rubbish or the recycling bin.

Some people are also chopping down trees for fun, if lots of people chop down trees for fun then there will be no clean air!!!  so if I see someone chopping down trees for no good reason I will be brave enough to go and tell them ” stop “.

I speak for you.

Yours truly,

Iris

My Favorite Book (warning spoilers!)

My Favourite  book is Harry Potter and the Cursed Child! Because

it is really easy to read and very entertaining!

I find it surprising that Harry’s son (albus) is in slythern and alabus’s siblings are all in griffindore! Albus is also friends with Draco Malfoy’s son! I

I don’t think it was the best but the book turned out to be 95% good because some of the characters weren’t themselves.

the book could be a bit better!

The skeletal system

How does the Skeletal System Work?

The skeletal system is a group of bones that work together to move your arms and legs.

First the brain tell your nerves to move your muscles, then the muscles move your bones.Your bones have joints to help them move.

The thigh bone is the longest bone and the strongest bone in the body. The smallest bone in your body is called the stirrup. This bone helps you balance when you stand.

You actually had 300 bones when you were born. As you grow up your bones fuse together. There are 206 bones in the adult body.    by Iris

Our excursion to the Botanical Gardens and Federation square!

I couldn’t wait for our next excursion! so when we got to school we took the roll and hopped on the bus! I did not have anyone to sit with but at least I got to sit next to the window! so when we arrived to the botanical gardens we ate our morning tea then we walked to a house to put our bags there so we did not have to carry it around all day.

so first there was a lady who kindly walked us up to a garden. this man told us to grab clapping sticks and  we had an amazing fire celebration! so then we broke up into two groups and we did some weaving with then strings. then the lady told us some interesting facts about trees and plants!

we did some painting made out of mud rock! (I don’t think that is the name though) so we ate lunch and hopped back on the bus to federation square! so we arrived at this aboriginal museum.

WE learnt really interesting facts but most of them were the same facts from the botanical gardens.

we went home on the train it was really fun, and the rest of the class went home on the bus.

this excursion was really fun!!

Digestive system

The digestive system is a group of organs that help digest the food that you eat as it goes through the digestive system and then it turn the waste into faecies and urine.

THE MOUTH

The teeth chew the food as you eat it. The tongue tastes the food and also help swallow it and the saliva softens it up. Then the tongue helps to swallow it,then it goes into the throat and the

Oesophugus pushes the food down into the stomach.

THE STOMACH

The stomach digests the food and also the pancreas helps the stomach digest the food for a couple of hours And then food turns into liquid

THE LIVER

The liver  turn bad food into waste and turns into faeces or/and. the good food goes into your bloodstream and gets used.

Then the food goes into your small intestine and digests the food again and the large intestine

Does the same thing and your food turn into faeces or/and uran and then it goes into your

Anus and this is when you need to go to the toilet.
